Ostraca – Disaster (Vinyl, LP)

In 2022 and after a small number of years Ostraca returned the stages and literally the whole screamo scene couldn’t be happier about that comeback. The three-piece from Richmond, Virginia, used the (pandemic) pause to also write new songs which now see the day of light in the form of a new album called “Disaster”. These six songs are the perfect sequel to Ostraca’s 2018 LP “Enemy” and everybody’s favorite album of the year 2017, “Last”. “Disaster” gives us everything we expect from Ostraca: crushing screamo with ice-cold moments of calm as well as gut-wrenching outbursts.
